FAQs

ARTWORKS

  • Limited editions are artistic prints with a restricted number of copies available, meaning there are only a certain number of prints produced. On the other hand, original artworks are one-of-a-kind, and there are no other pieces like them in the world. Both limited edition and original artworks can increase in demand, and as the availability decreases, their value may increase.

  • An artist's proof is a print obtained during the printing process. It should not be confused with color proofs, which are directly destroyed, leaving only the artist's proof as a unique and valuable piece, often more valuable than the limited edition prints.

  • All limited edition prints are signed and numbered by hand, and each piece of artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

  • Limited edition prints are typically high in demand, which makes them valuable. Art prints that have been signed by the artist are usually even more valuable, making them a sensible investment.Let’s not forget one of the main reasons you buy art prints – because they fill your soul. My limited edition art prints are a more affordable option than original paintings and are something that you can enjoy.

Small art prints are sent in a rigid envelope since, since they are printed on thick paper, it is not recommended to roll them when they are not large. Since our priority is that you receive the product in good conditions, we prefer to send it flat. The medium and large art prints are sent rolled in a tube. In both cases, they are protected with onion paper and gloves are attached that we recommend using when handling the paper. The biggest art prints and the mixed media art prints, are send flat in a cardboard or in a folder.

  • Our priority is that you are satisfied. If your product arrives damaged, you must send an email to hello@barbaratraver.com with a photograph of the damage.
