I'm glad you asked me that question...
-
All limited editions are signed and numbered by me by hand. And each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
-
As I mentioned above, you'll receive two certificates of authenticity (the durability certificate and the certificate of authenticity for my work). Additionally:
– A pair of white cotton gloves so you can handle the image without damaging it.
– A personalized postcard.
-
Here is a care list for my artwork
CARE GUIDE
– It is important to avoid direct contact with sunlight. If you want to save the artwork, instead of having it exposed, it should be done in a drawer and protected with a tissue paper or any other soft paper.
– If you exhibit the artwork in a room, it must be protected by glass or methacrylate with UV protection.
– If you want to frame it, the materials must be acid free as well as the passepartout. If the frame is made of wood and is in direct contact with the photo, it must be made of natural wood and without varnish.
– Adhesives must also be acid free. If not, any other adhesive could leave yellow marks and deteriorate the support.
– The work should never be touched directly with the hands in order to avoid leaving traces of grease or moisture. You have to touch it with cotton gloves like the ones that we enclose inside the package.
– Do not screw the photograph back on after it has been removed from the tube in case you have received it like that.
– Store the work in a cool, dry place preferably at a room temperature between 10º and 30º with a relative humidity between 49% and 60%.
– If you have acquired more than one photograph, they should never be touched between them since the surface is very sensitive. You should always put a tissue paper or, at least, another soft paper between the both of them.

Limited editions are artistic prints with a restricted number of available copies, meaning only a certain number of copies are produced.
On the other hand, original works are unique. In other words, there are no identical pieces in the world.
But both limited editions and original works increase in demand. So, as their availability decreases, their value increases.
-
That's something only you can answer.
I commit to ensuring 100% satisfaction for my art collectors, and that's why, once you've received your item, I offer seven (7) days for you to change your mind. That is, to decide whether you want to keep it or request a refund.
-
Once I receive your request, I will notify you if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, it will be automatically refunded to your original payment method.
Please note that the bank or credit card issuing institution may take some time to process and reflect the refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
I offer a 7-day window for changing your mind and requesting a refund.
Before contacting you, I will ask for photos or other evidence of the damaged artwork and its belongings.
However, I don't have a warehouse to store unwanted items, so there's no option for returns.
Remember that return shipping costs cannot be reimbursed.
-
Don't worry. My priority is to ensure your satisfaction.
To answer your question, if the product arrives damaged, you should send me an email at hello@barbaratraver.com with a photograph of the damage.
I will then request another photograph with the artwork split in half since these are signed and numbered limited editions, and for security reasons, I need to ensure there are no duplicates.
Once I receive this photograph, I will send you a new copy with the same number as soon as possible at no additional cost.
Once an order has been sent to production, you can no longer edit any details or cancel it.
If the shipping details are incorrect, I am not responsible, and I do not offer replacements or refunds.
-
Depending on the size, they are shipped rolled in a tube or in a rigid envelope.
Small art prints are shipped in a rigid envelope because they are printed on thick paper and it's not advisable to roll them when they are not large.
As my priority is to ensure you receive the product in good condition, I prefer to send it flat.
Medium and large art prints are shipped rolled in a tube.
In both cases, they are protected with tissue paper, and I include gloves that I recommend using when handling the paper.
-
Since I contract third parties for the production of the artworks (a printing company and a shipping service) and they are produced on demand, I cannot provide a fixed delivery time, but an approximate one.
The maximum time to receive your order is 15 business days under normal conditions (extraordinary conditions could include things like weather-related delays, issues related to the current Coronavirus situation, etc.).
-
Yes, of course.
But please note that if you decide to frame my work, there is an additional cost that you will need to pay through PayPal.
To do so, you should contact me at hello@barbaratraver.com.
When you do, specify what type of frame you want or request my suggestions.
I'll be happy to advise you based on the photograph you've chosen.
If you purchase a framed art print, it will be shipped flat with a wooden backing that protects the glass, wrapped in cardboard and bubble wrap.
